Thoughts: GT350R to a GT500

Keep the GT350R or take the GT500 HP?

So when I bought mine- I was going through this exact same thing GT350 vs GT500 base.....I was fortunate enough to have 3 dealers near me that had both a used GT500 and GT350 (non R) in stock so I was able to drive them back to back 3 times

GT500 selling points- the power- oh my damn - the power
GT350 selling points Voodoo sound- oh my damn- the sounds

So my car is just a fun weekend car- so I didnt want a cruiser- I wanted something that felt on edge at all time and I love manual transmissions- that being said- the power of the GT500 was intoxicating- it was a tough decision but no right answer here

Maybe after done paying for kids colleges and weddings I can have both lol

Decided to keep the R. Dealer and I couldn't come to an agreement and after driving the R again, it's just too special to give up. Only thing contemplating now is a different color, for uniqueness. I've seen at least 1 other Shadow Black R around town. Black is also a pain in the a** to keep clean. The plan now is to get rear seats, regardless which R I end up with.

Thank you everyone for your feedback/comments.

Do a full xpel and have it ceramic coated. Install a back seat. Poof, all you problems are gone. Glad I could help. A little soul searching is good for the soul.

Maybe a Twister Orange Wrap to make it stand out! lol
Good call on keeping it, and who knows maybe a GT500 in the Future to add to the stable!

I'm not sure the 350 even wins the sounds. My 500 imo just sounds absolutely ferocious at full throttle, better than my 350s exotic. I guess this is personal opinion.

That Vooodooo sound at or near redline is wicked though! Nothing else has that sound to me.

Yes, it is, but that flat plane rank is very unique

I think this poll should be only valid for those that have "owned both cars", otherwise a bit biased towards what they drive. Lol (myself included)

I also have not voted. Bought my 2018 R new. Sold it back in January. Waiting on a GT500 I ordered @MSRP. I can say there are some aspects I miss about it and some I don't. I want my 500 yesterday tho.
