Those with front and rear dashcams, what's the best setup?

I have a front one but might buy a new one or even a pair for front and rear. I'm running out of space, have a usb phone charger, radar detector, ipod in the center console, and dashcam in the cigarette lighter. Is there a "best" setup to do?

Questions:

1) 2 independent dashcams for better quality? Or a dual connected one so its easier to connect (just one plug I imagine?)

2) Where do you guys hardwire it? Mirror or side panel?

3) I know fords leave the electronics running for 90 minutes after engine turns off. Has anyone changed that? Or do you all use dashcams with a battery that will last a few or several hours after the car turns off.

+1 on the DR650GW-2CH. Just one wire to route to the rear for video and power. Been working great for ~ 2 years now.

Thinkware has a new one out, the 770. I've only read one review and it was positive.

I would love to see everyones setups with these cams. After having my car sitting at a dealer for over a week and getting it back and having some questionable marks and track app records on it i would of loved to of had one of these installed.

There's really nothing to see. The front sticks to the windshield behind the rear view mirror, the small rear one at the top of the back window.

I also have the Blackvue and like it. The only con I have against it is that the videos are only 1 minute long at the maximum. I would prefer 5-minute bites instead so I don't need to join files together as much for longer videos. I used a black sharpie to color in the silver parts for an even stealthier look. It is very unnoticeable when installed, but the front cam can be easily removed.

You can set them to 3 minutes for both event and driving. I keep driving at 3 min and events at 1 minute.

You can add a back camera to it and it will record both channels.
