I only missed rowing the gears here and there. The power of the 500 and not having that no torque feeling while driving around town will help you get over it. Biggest driving difference I felt was in the front ends. The 350’s front end felt lighter to me.
Good feedback right here.

I had an 18. I wanted to love it. I took the Ford Performance GT350 track day and had a blast. But, I am a drag racer and power junkie at heart. While the GT350 is a good track car, it is not great for off track driving where you want power NOW. The GT500 is the all around car for me. (Was gonna install a blower on the 350, but no one make a smog legal set up, so no go ).

Idk man.... Gt350 is one of the best cars ever built IMO.

But the extra ridiculous power is irreplaceable. And how it makes power on the top end is insane.

My buddy has a roush stage 3, 750hp. We take turns winning races day to say it seems dependent on traction or what MPH we take off from. But in any race when we hit 100, I literally RUN away as if he hit the breaks.

POWER OVERWHELMING

Actually there’s several legal supercharger setups. Can’t go wrong with a 500 though.

I gotta say, when it's time.to go out to the garage and pick a.car, the 500 gets the nod. That is unless I'm feeling guilty.

I’ve driven a few GT500s. I always end up back in an R. The 500 isn’t for me and that’s ok. I know a few personal friends who sold their 500s to get into an R as well.

I think you really need to own both and make the decision that’s best for you.

The 500 is an amazing machine! But I do miss the engagement I had with my 350.

I think the GT500’s are nice cars.…but to me the 350’s have more character.….the redline, sounds, great transmission etc make it one of my favorites.

I came from a 2019 GT350 and I have no regrets at all with the decision to move on to a 500. While I really enjoyed the GT350 I thought that it was under-powered on the street. While on the track the power was adequate on the street it's not practical to live in the 5000+ rpm powerband. Funny I thought my 2013 Boss felt faster. The GT500 took the 350 and corrected any issue of being under-powered while keeping the handling.

One other complaint with the GT350 was the tramlining with the Cup IIs. I swear if a cop ever pulled up behind me they would have pulled me over on the suspicion of drinking and driving.

No doubt the 350 is great but the 500 is greater!
The s550 chassis and modern tires need 700hp minimum.
I can’t wait to add 150hp to my 500 when it has R compound tires.

These are the cars I’ve owned over the past 3 years. Some in triplicate. This is how I would rank them in the total visceral thrill on the street. Seat of the pants feel with a great exhaust sound . This might change when the allocation to order a 2023 Z06 is available next year.

1. 2021 GT500
2. 2020 Jaguar F Type SVR
3. 2022 C8 Z51.
4. 2019 GT350R

im planning on adding a power adder next year. I havent had the pleasure of driving a GT500 yet. Maybe after some seat time in one I to will make the jump. Prices are ridiculous right now.
