Thank you all

I did actually take the seats out for this, hence the dirty fingernails lol
all in all, it dropped 96.4lbs from my usual raceweight of 4390 w/ full tank + driver so right at 4300 lbs. i tried to scale it there, but was closed/off and they wouldnt open it. but ive scaled the car before

Outstanding.
8's with essentially bolt-on mods.
Curious...how does Chuck square your performance with his recent green machine rebuild?
2 different things. SM really isnt different than any other cars, but he seemed to have the same issue i had for 6 months, low DCT fluid. The good thing is, if, and im betting that it is, is fixed with some fluid, the car will rip just like the rest of us fast guys. Hes still at teh mercy of the DCT and LC for drags, but car should MPH and roll race very well

Apparantly, the DCT fill proceudre is a bit different, which is how my old mechanic and chuck woud have not done it 100%. But I know chuck did it more properly than I, as they got it warmed up and through gears etc and then added more, ( we did not) But i think you have to tilt the car to completely fill it too..

The only good thing, is he has the issue for less than 6 hours vs 6 months for us to figure out

Unreal. I wonder what just a cradle lockout would do for it.

I assume the DCT fills like a manual, LOL.

Congrats that’s one hell of a run. Great watching your videos and the sounds are amazing. Look forward to many more on here. Just Jaw dropping insane times.
Mine is just a shade darker then yours. And a ton slower 😂

Great run. Did my first real drag strip time at the GT500 Track Attack. Whole new level of respect all the way around for that and those that run the cars like that.

Quite honestly I was more scared of the car on the drag strip than I ever was at the road course.

Great run again!!!!

Well Done! My goal is 9 second run.....don't care if it is 9.99....just want a 9.xx...still haven't pulled the trigger on ordering all the goodies....
Ha ha ha like all us moded 500s the goal is 9s or bust it’s so easy that you then say ohhh I’m not doing my car like this it’s my baby next thing you know your a fuel system away and hungry for 8s. Good luck and have fun it’s all that matters.

nice, that launch was crisp! I’m very impressed at how well it took off! From a distance you can hardly tell it has a smaller wheel...when I first saw the video I thought there was no way that thing would get traction 😄 that’s a super sticky tire with a little more diameter though, and it delivered! Congrats again, that thing is a monster!

This shows how amazing this car is, most cars would require a lot of money and still would not reach these numbers.

For the GT500 to do this with mild mods is incredible.

I'm not a drag racer (besides coming out of turns). How much do the mods cost to get these numbers?

In your opinion, what would be the next best platform to get to these numbers and how much would that cost (if you have an idea)?
