Before I try to sort myself, has anyone had any luck with claiming on the warranty for the really thin paint, especially on the base colours like my own Comp Orange?
3 months and 3500 miles in I have a few tiny stone chips, not on the front but on top of the bonnet/hood and high on the driver's door.
Already the paint around these 2mm across chips is flaking off.
My e36 BMW is 17 years old with 105,000 miles and despite battle scars and dents caused by years of London parking and commuting, there is still not one stone chip.
Even the major dents show no paint damage.
If anyone has had any luck claiming, do let me know.
Cheers.
