They say a GT350 Mustang is $30,000-$40,000?

P.S. if anyone wants to enlarge this “ cost Vs depreciation “ discussion! I would be willing to list all 25 Mustangs
just post a table or a spreadsheet.
PS. is your period key been re-mapped to exclamation point for some reason?

Keep in mind the listed prices are almost always negotiable. My dealer started at $55K used on my car and we settled at $49K. I would think just about any used car has a good $2-5K buffer to negotiate.

With the economic and virus fears who knows what will happen with sports car pricing. If we are in a recession prices will likely drop a lot more.

As a past owner of a 2000 cobra R; I purchased it five years into its life in 2005 ! Depreciation sped to a stop ! As history repeats itself a five year old GT350 purchased right will not move downwards much ! Buy a wonderful 16” and own it for free (or close to) for the next multiple years and relish the ride ! Remember if you can afford it! It’s is not what you paid for it !! it’s what it’s worth when you’re Ready to move on! I own a 16 “ R” and I will see very light depreciation! Thanks for considering my advice! ( 30 years in the car biz on my 25th Mustang) !
Very good interesting point you got here! As long as the car has clean history, this is probably true...

This x 1000... its all about what you can afford

People throwing out straw man examples of random used GT350s prove nothing , a quick look at signature reveals all the motives (and it usually ties in with who has a GT350 and who doesn’t)

The car IS a a 5 yr old car, i noticed an increased flood of new users (which is great for any car) but a lot of people have expectations not in line with what the car is.

As I have been helped with questions on my newly acquired 2016 GT 350 R, I feel like giving back when I can . As The owner of three 1966 Shelby GT 350s I found that many mustang owners were purchasing items or redoing their cars modifying them to become like one but never were. Buying a 2016 GT 350 R at the right price now gives you $16,000 worth of upgraded carbon fiber wheels a carbon fiber wing and a long list of other items and it is an original R which will always have a higher resale! So first come first serve there is a 2016 GT 350 R with a clean title history beautiful 14 K miles asking 50 K in Los Angeles a dry climate on CarGurus right now; go West young man.
