Ok, so in your case, if you install a exhaust approved by Germany, you do not lose your Ford warranty? or you always lose the warranty as long as you modify anything on the car?
You will always lose the warranty if you modify the car. Maybe not if you let the dealer install ford racing parts, but I'm not sure about that.

I will let my stang be stock for the first 2 years because of that.

You only lose the warranty for parts of the car that you replace or modify and for parts that might be affected by said modifications.

So for example if you tune the engine and your gearbox fails there will be no warranty coverage because added engine power puts more strain on the entire drivetrain.

But if you tune your engine and your doorhandle breaks off the doorhandle will still be covered by your warranty since there is no plausible causal connection between it breaking off and the engine tuning.

if you just change your exhaust with axle backs by ford racing, and the engine is damaged ... it would hard to believe that this was caused by the axle back ;-)
i don´t think about a worst case engine damaged with a V8 engine - that would be pure misfortune -
i think we have to wait for the sound of the EU, i heard different things (from loud of testdrivings to extreme low volume) so in june we will know the truth - and: who knows what´s coming up there from Ford Racing for EU ?
the biggest headshaker, still, is the hood vent issue, every dealer is telling me he can´t understand (as said, nearly every sportscar has such stuff here in germany) -

this is one of the rare "sound" vids of EU version
[ame]

it seems to be same as the US stock, so it´s not too bad -
as i have a garage 10 seconds around here i think i will change the exhaust up to my mood ;-) axle back is a thing of 15min, catback 30min ...

i got a new info by a friend who spoke to a huge Ford dealer in germany, that the first EU stangs will have their birthday at March, 20th ... means: plus 7 weeks to ship here, i expect to see the final truth end may / early june ...

Obsolete video.. Functionalities have been adjusted and widely discussed.
all 3 red in DLR, outer light orange blinking at turn.
all 3 red at braking (and outer orange blinking if turning signal activated)

Latest info: Dutch prices have been changed considerably:

Fastback 2.3 EcoBoost manual: € 47.600 (was 55.195)
Fastback 2.3 EcoBoost automatic: € 70.700 (raised, was 68.695)
Convertible 2.3 EcoBoost manual: € 53.600 (was 59.695)
Convertible 2.3 EcoBoost automatic: € 75.200 (raised, was 71.695)

Now the base prices are completely in tune with those in other countries. The remaining excess is caused by the rediculous CO2 based local taxes.

Still worthy to cross the Belgian border...except if these prices already include some kind of taxes you would have to pay on GR or BE imports anyway...

The word is, it's 'just rumors', no official word from Ford NL yet.
Dealer assured me that if true, this would work out to my benefit. Yay!:ford:
Not sure if I get to keep my negotiated discount percentage though .. we'll see.
