I ran across this pic on a Facebook page and it reminded me of some of the recent drives I've taken just experiencing the sheer joy of driving my Mustang. I've owned a lot of cars and trucks in my lifetime but my 2020 Rapid Red GT Premium 401A Mustang is by far my favorite.

This pic is not of my Mustang but it inspired me.

They ARE great cars. They are a great VALUE. I wish people wouldn’t nit pick these cars so much. Where else can you get 460+ hp, for ~$36k. Or 700+ hp, reliably, for $44k. With a warranty.

My dad spent $100k on his 911S. It’s not even fun to drive on the street. If we’re being honest. It looks cool. But on the street it’s boring. It’s only really enjoyable on the track. That’s where it’s personality comes out.

Completely agree. All total, including sales tax and all my mods, I have under 50K in my 2018 GT Premium and this includes my forced induction system.

I would estimate around 650 to the wheel and it takes about an hour for the stupid grin to get off my face every time I drive it.

Mine has been flawless at just under 18K miles. I would buy the exact same car all over again.

The zenith of the internal combustion rear wheel drive platform.

I traded my 2016 Z06 and got a loaded 2018 GT premium. The stang is such a more driveable car. The z06 was a rocket and all but so limited in usage, passengers, gear/cargo, road conditions. Once Ford got the HP up to 460, it made the car so much better than previous years.

Got $60k+ for the vette, got the 18 Stang leftover in 19 for $43k (was a $49k+ sticker). So happy with the change. Bang for buck, user friendly, still bad ass, comfortable, on and on...

I got a Grabber Blue 2017 Mustang GT and traded in my C7 Z51 package. I like the Mustang a million times more. I’m not afraid to drive it in a drive thru, I get more complements on it, and it costs less.

700 crank HP is easy to get, 7-8k is all you need. Most of the off the shelf blower kits get you there on pump gas. It used to be possible to get a base PP car for like 36K. So 44K sounds about right to go fast.

This generation of Mustangs out-power and out-perform all the cars we had on posters or built models of in my youth. Yes, that is comparing very different generations of cars, not a one-to-one comparison.

But we're still getting 60-75% of todays. supercars for one-tenth the price!

And whatever generation Mustang it is, you have a ride that's just good to look at.
