You mean, like the millions spent on design, development, and testing of the Gen 1 motors?

🙃 🙃 🙃

Coming from the camaro world, especially the 1LE variant, they are HEAVY trackers over there just like the GT350 world. Their stock setup is 285 in front 305 in rear. I find it interesting that Ford went with 295 with the GT350. You will not see ONE complaint of tramlining in any camaro forum. Many of the camaro owners who track do the square setup so they can rotate as the Supercar 3s don't last very long - which is also similar to the Cup 2s. Mind you, both cars are around 3700 pounds and have magneride dampers. The engines could not make power any differently but now owning both they are very similar in their handling characteristics.

So that's why I was wondering what folks on this side do as well since I am over here on the dark side now. Ha!
I own a 2015 Z/28. It came from the factory with the P-Zero Trofeo R 305s all around and it DID INDEED tramline until removal for General G-Max units (305s). All things being equal and the vehicle properly aligned, most on all GT350 forums attest to the tramline issue going away once they move on from the Pilot Sport Cups 2s (I haven't as I love them on and off track).

I'm pretty certain Ford didn't go with the staggered set-up because it was slower. 😉

You have the holy grail! Would it be heresy to post a picture up on a GT350 forum because I love the 5th gen Z28s. Those are hard to find for sale now. I wanted a Z28 or Boss 302 but found a 2019 1SS 1LE from a pilot that had just been let go at the start of COVID. Hell of a car for under 40k...bang for the buck is incredible and I couldn't pass it up.

I was always on the 6th gen forum and saw 0 mention of tramlining.

For the 350, I am going to roll with more negative camber up front. I do want to maintain a streetable car. I'll see the track maybe 3/4 times a year.

I can't get the usual Super Car 3s that came on the 1Le. Even if I am mostly on the street it seems you prefer the Cup 2s. Interesting and looks like I have a decision to make. I need to replace these P Zeros the dealership put on...entirely too soft for me when pushed.

Good question... (posting a Z/28 snap on the M6G forum) I can certainly send a couple via PM.

It no longer sees track. As you know only 1800 ever made. Guessing they will be valuable one day. Its a monster on track, but not better than the GT350. GT350 has a more race feel to it with the noise and willingness to rev -- also with FP springs, bars and camber plates - it handles slightly better.

I understand the ZL1 1LE would be the winner -- I've only instructed in a couple and never had the pleasure to drive seriously hard (but can only imagine). I also don't feel it has the personality the GT350 does, but would like to buy one in the future. So many cars -- so little money.

Can you post up a picture of how the fronts look?
Sorry it took so long, finally had a chance to get the car out. Here's a few of the 305 square setup, excuse the brake dust, overdue for a wash...

Thank you! It looks good. Beefy. May be the angle but is your 350 lowered? I'm bummed I can't dial in more negative camber without adjustable camber plates. Going to order those along with the super sports.
