The pump by itself is $2500 normally, right now it is less. Comp cams are about $1500 for a baseline cost on that. ID 1050's are about a grand. $10,500 on the sleeper kit with the specs he mentioned in the video. No idea how much the tune will cost. So you all are looking at about a minimum of $16k … minimum.

Looking at the price tag wasn’t that bad since I was ready for it.

So.... how much will it cost ?

If you have already have a return fuel system and upgraded port injectors will you be able to take advantage of upgraded DI injectors and DI pump with stock cams ?
Looks like we'd Add the cost of cams to the cost of an already premium fuel system. So maybe $3500 for just the fuel system?

Pretty sure you just need one cam, not all 4.

I meant just for the fuel system
Are the DI injectors ID’s ?
So if you minus the cost of the kit ...$5500?
I think I am good with E85 .lol

Hello, the kit price from XDI is $4999. That includes an in tank XDI fuel pump, bolt on XDI high pressure pump, set of 8 XDI high pressure injectors, and one camshaft with larger fuel lobe lift. We added a JMS Fuelmax for $489.

This was enough fuel for 1000 rwhp on our 2019 GT.

The question I’m surprised no one has asked yet. Was any octane booster used?

Also, is this kit e85 compatible?

For those who can’t reliably get e85, this is a hell of an option.

I was curious about this too. So I did a little math.

Using a BSFC of .50 for 93 octane at
1000 hp gives a fuel consumption of 500lbs an hour. (Hp x BSFC = FC per hour)

Assuming the direct injectors are at there safe limits on E85 with a BSFC of .70 the math shows the system will only support about 714hp to the limit of the direct injectors.
(714hp x .70 = 500 lbs an hour)

I think this is why most don’t bother with modifying the direct injection. Port injection you have a limit to about 80% duty cycle. This works fine since the fuel will just sit in the intake port until the intake valve opens.

This can’t work with direct injection since the window of injection is so short. I’m not completely sure but I would imagine there is only about 180 degree crankshaft window for fuel injection. Where as port injection can utilize almost all 720 degrees of crankshaft rotation.

So in my opinion one would spend a lot of money on a system that will be limited to gasoline only. But also good for people with little to no access to E85.
