• metal dashboards
• no airbags
• 4 wheel drum brakes
• no catalytic converters
• parachute pants
• break dancing
• when cigarette smoking was not a big deal and smoking was allowed EVERYWHERE
• Commodore 64 and 128
• when the 1993 Cobra came out
• when Nutrition labels did not exist
• quarts of oil used to be in metal cans
• boob implants were not as common
• viagra & any other pecker enhancing pills did not exist
• when E.T. first came out in the theaters
• when ricers and the "import scene" was non-existant
• when there used to be a pay phone nearly everywhere
• when John Lennon was assassinated
• when alarm clocks were not digital but had numerals that "flipped" over to change the time
• when the first CD's and CD players came out
• when beer cans (and soda cans) came with those "peel off" tabs

Not getting arrested for Minor in Possession for having a trunk full of beer. Nowadays, kids would be in all kinds of trouble. We just had to pour it out and head on home.

They still do these over in the Middle East. They were kind of fun to open, but having the tab come off was annoying if you weren't near a trash can.

I did that as recently as 1999. The library I went to in 2012 had computers to look up books, but you still had to understand the codes to know how to find them on the shelf. It took me a while to remember how the codes worked.
