First slide was due to cold tires and piss poor braking going into a wet, off camber, turn. Second spin was playing with all nannies off and getting on the gas too hard and too early coming out of a turn. Live and learn.

That thing is no joke - it's fast. Even Alan said as much. While he's light years ahead of me with driving skills, I couldn't keep up anywhere on the track and actually had to wave him buy once or twice. It's a nice car, and damn I wish we had the rev-matching. :(
