A Camaro ZL1 I think is close to $65,000 and the Hellcat is roughly $62,000. Even at $69,000, the GT500 would be the most expensive of the bunch when comparing base models.
The Hellcat base model is pretty de-contented, I was shocked at a local Hellcat that was $59K base, but had $22,000 of options

The ZL1 is nicely optioned at the ā€œbaseā€ price. Iā€™m talking features like audio system, safety tech, convenience options.

Here's a new hair in the in the biscuit one thing that will absolutely hurt GT500 sales is Ford's new haphazard and un understandable way they are filling special orders. If it takes 5 or 6 months to fill orders I can see a lot of cancellations.

I am most likely paying 10K ADM unless my dealer has a last second change of heart when the MSRP and order guide is finally released. I know 100 of you will think I am crazy for paying 10K ADM but for me the car is worth it and that is how pricing in a fair open market works. A fair price is whatever 1 person is willing to pay. Now with that being said I wouldn't pay 20K ADM and I wont pay 10K ADM either if the MSRP with my specs comes out to over 85K.

Before they go crazy with ADM's I hope they look out on the lot and see how many Bullitt's they have on the lot

With all this talk and excitement, how much ADM are you willing to pay to get the new Top Dog Mustang?

Just like the GT350R adm threads, only a few people admitted they paid adm, most said they paid MSRP (yea right), and some said they paid invoice. LOL

On a separate note, I imagine the prices on the 13/14 GT500 dropping. Nice time to own the previous top dog mustang for less than $40k when the new GT500 hits.
If you are willing to put the time in, MSRP deals can be had. At the peak of hype season, I acquired my ā€˜16 Track Pack in April of 2016 at MSRP. Everyone said you couldnā€™t get an R at MSRP, and after a short 2 month hunt, I acquired my R in June of 2017 for MSRP. I enjoy the hunt. The more responses I got of NO for an MSRP offer, the more determined I became.

Just because you called 1 or 2 dealerā€™s and got nowhere, donā€™t assume those that were able to acquire MSRP deals through persistence or connections are lying.

The deals are out there if your just looking your late or will need to sit it out a while. There's plenty to go around and many who may even step away and free up allocations already reserved. For me it's a year late and a McLaren short.

I'm probably in the minority view with this, but I expect plenty GT500's sitting around dealer lots by the fall/winter. They are making 5,000 freaking units (in addition to the GT350's out also). Be a little patient, just a little, and you'll get your car with ease.

Again, my mere opinion, very well could be wrong...but I think I'll be right.

There is no "elephant in the room". ADMs were expected and this is just an attempt at more drama.

Not in the 2020 MY. Especially the CF track pack. All you can eat production will occur in 2021. 2020 will be limited.

2020 MY for the GT500 is projected at 5000 units, 25% of which are the track pack option. so 3750 regulars and 1250 track packs. still quite a lot.

My hang up would be, if you're spending 85k oleds ADM, why not go for a Z07 at that price point?

Decontented is a bit misleading, as a base Hellcat is still a well equipped car.

Uh I didn't call anybody. I wasnt even aiming for a gt350 when I was car hunting. Just remembering how so many people complained about adm. And the more serious people ended up going out of state to get theirs.

Iā€™m disappointed a Viper sounds like 8.4 liters of garbage truck.

I was invited for a 2 day Bondurant Track event back in 2016 running a T/A 2.0. Iā€™m so glad I attended. WOT in a Gen V in 3 gear sounds like shit, especially at redline. At 5ā€™11ā€, my helmet was rubbing up against the roof not matter how I positioned the seat. Needless to say, that car was dropped off my short list.

you guys are all retarded. No one on this forum is paying ADM's In fact, most of the current ecoboost and 15 GT owners on here have under MSRP deals in place as of yesterday.. according to them anyway
