Hey Guys. I am looking real hard at this set of wheels and tires from American Muscle:

I can get it with staggered wheels (which i think will fit nicely with this "retro look") 255/35-20s on the front and those big arze 305/35/20 Mickey Thompson Ultra-High Performance Street Comp Tires on the rear, already mounted and balanced with nitro turn key service for around $1,500. All you need is a Jack and a wrench at that point. Ill keep the originals to beat up on from November through March and run these in the Summer.

I agree. The connundrum is I wanted to go big to give it that viseral muscle car look. You can't go big rubber these days unless you run drag wheels and I definitely wanted 305s on the rear of I could find them. It is super hard to find 19 or 20s that have the look and these were about as close as I could get. There was exactly one set I liked better.....for $1,000 more than were not better enough...

So far i haven't even found 305s in the 19s so had to go 20s.

Since I now get to look forward to dirt on the side of my car with these wider tires...i added these small mud flaps on the rear.

The missing front wheel should come tomorrow. The vinyl is supposed to go on tomorrow

Tomorrow after vinyl and after I get the front wheels on, im going to get out the good camera...well it will prob be Tuesday.

The BMR lowering Springs (1.2 inch lower in front and 0.5 drop in rear) should be here soon. The Cervini upper and lower grills and quarter window scoops are still showing "pending" on cervini's site.

Trying to pick out a CAI, strut tower brace and engine dress up gear now.

Also looking at Audio gear to ad a Subwoofer in trumk.

Running out of ideas beyond that....i am going back and forth about adding a larger chin spoiler. (Original Mach 1 had a huge chin).

I also keep intermittently wondering if I actually SHOULD use a gold side stripe.

BMR street lowering Springs are in.
MAN...it is hard to find shops to install stuff you already own in Augusta GA and I don't want to do it myself .

I think I found a place though....ughh. Headaches.

Will be a few weeks before I can get around to getting this done .

Just do it yourself. Just do one thing different from what videos show. Replace one side at a time on the rear. This keeps everything in the same location. The hardest part on the front was to remove the lower strut bolts because the are spline bolts and you have to bang the hell out of them to get them out without hitting the fender.

Update. The GTCS spoiler was going to leave exposed holes in the trunk deck so am likely going to just return it. I may check with the ford body shop to see if they want to take a stab at it but at this rate it is likely to cost three times what the spoiler cost just to get it installed properly.... I would rather put that money into the rest of my suspension mods.
