Don’t always go for the deep wet gloss look, I used Cover All is it was good, I found Cristal Products and tried it. I feel it was better than cover all and cheap too.. but VRP is my favorite for now.

I’m using Adams VRT tire dressing. I’ve been happy with it so far.
I typically put it on when the car is going to sit for a couple of days to help reduce flinging. Will try the micro sponge technique n X-ray time.
Thanks 4 reply.

Hey Guys-

The best TIRE DRESSING? for the wettest look......... Would it be ADAMS or CHEMICAL GUYS?

Thanks Anthony
Wet??? That is a nice 90's look especially useful for sling. Perhaps troll the ol' skool car forums to see what they use. Good luck with your search.

I hate to say this, but different strokes for different folks. A lot of products people are recommending can give the wet look without slinging if you go back later to wipe off excess. Why the harsh words? I don't think those that prefer coupes and hate red, would tell you how they feel about your personal choice. I find it interesting to see things that I did't think would be for me.

I think it's crazy that people still use wet dressings.
Not hating, but you can get these dry to the touch dressings now that don't sling off, give you the exact same wet look, and stay on for months.
And when they get dirty or start to fade, you can gives em a decent cleaning and re-apply a fresh coat or two.
FB5.0 pointed one out... Exoforma makes a good one, and I use dura-coating... I see multiple brands are making their own versions all over the place.
Definitely worth it

agree with DFB on Meguiars Endurance gel...
let it set or it will sling.

One more comment from me: your tires must be clean for any coating to make them look their best. Tires attract all sorts of road stuff...oil, tar etc. This shows up as the brown stuff. If you just throw wet coating on the tires the brown stuff makes it easy for it to sling. Soooo, tire coatings, especially the "wet" coatings, sling that much easier. Bottom line is that unless you are obsessive about cleaning/coating your tires it represents a problematic issue. Have fun, buddy.

If you want the sloppiest, shiny, glossy, wettest of wet tire look, go with the Meguiar’s Endurance Tire Gel…. It’s definitely “wet” in appearance…

I used it a few years back - it’s not for me… but if that’s what you are seeking, that product will give you “that look”.

I have used many tire sheen products, but settled on Croftgate Tire Shine. It’s not wet, it’s not glossy, it gives the tire a nice deep & clean black sidewall look… it doesn’t fling off onto the sides of the vehicle. It’s like a matte finish, but with minimal sheen…
