I’ve been running in 90-94 degree weather at roughly 2800 DA.

@Silver Bullet do you by chance remember what the temperature and DA were on your 12.0 run?
Not exactly sure of DA, but it was evening, cool, and we had a pretty good tailwind out of the North, so probably fairly low humidity. It was nowhere close to 2800.

Edit, plugging some rough numbers into my da calculator, I’m guessing 1100-1200.

From the video's I've seen on the dyno numbers of the S650...I'm not impressed. The 18-22's put down more HP/TQ stock...and respond well to simple bolt-on mods. But, I'm happy there is another generation of the Mustang...at least Ford isn't giving up on the sports car, unlike the other 2 of the big 3...

Great time. When you go back 13 years ago.
For $70,000.00, and it being 2023, it should be running 11.60’s on street tires FFS……

Then he wasn’t spinning that bad at all. If he was, it would be more like 2.25-2.45 seconds.

Didn’t read all the replies. That said, C&D weighed a manual dark horse with full tank of gas and it was 3,975 lbs. The manual GT PP was 3,940 lbs. So the S650 has gained 75-100 lbs, give or take. And only got a little more power to offset the weight. I wouldn’t expect it to be any faster except at 100+ due to the power increase and same aero. A 116-117 mph trap is about what I’d expect for 500 hp and 4,100 lbs race weight (assuming he had less than 1/2 tank of fuel). It’s a heavier version of an already heavy car. It wasn’t going to be any quicker than the S550.

I think Ford might have put more effort into making it a bit faster if it wasn’t for essentially no competition anymore.
