I came to the conclusion that my Exhaust is just too Loud and too Raspy.

- Stainless Power Catted Headers (silver ceramic coated)
- Ford Racing Touring exhaust with black tips

I loved it before I did the headers. I thought that was a 6-7 out of 10 (10 being the loudest possible). Well after the headers it's a 9. It's been ereally hard to not make a racket in my neighborhood at low speed. A manual and 373 gearing doesn't help.

So today I swapped out my x-pipe for the Borla 60561 Resonator.
Now it's REALLY REALLY tame. Maybe a 4 out of 10. I like that it's deeper in tone and the harsh rasp is gone. I'm not sure what to do now... It's now quieter and more civilized than I would like. I guess there are some benefits to stealth mode. WOT is still pretty great.

Maybe I could change out the mufflers for Borla's S-Type or Atak ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Here's the "Stealth Mode" setup... I'm starting to like it actually. I think I'll keep it this way for a while.

Honestly, I reckon you're onto it.
Sounds nice without being "look at me".
More please?

Just got my GT350 Steering Wheel and 40 mins later it was installed.
I got tired of waiting for someone to get them instock... bought one off eBay.

That was a quick and extremely satisfying mod. The materials and stitching of the new wheel feels MUCH higher quality. From the beginning I disliked the feel of the stock wheel and was considering having it recovered. Thanks Ford for making the GT350 wheel nicer and a direct replacement. Used this diy
I'd be too scared to install it myself. I'd probably have the airbag explode and take my head off.

Was that Borla resonator a direct swap for the x pipe?

YES. This specific resonator is a direct swap for a couple of the Borla exhaust systems and both the Ford Racing "Sport" and "Touring" systems that come with an X-pipe.

Love it, any chance of some more pictures of the car with new wheels on please, be good to see some close ups of front and rear showing the stance. :)

Better shots are coming when I get good weather, a clean car and the free time.

Here are some for now that show the stance. Car still needs an alignment and I think there's some serious toe-out in the front.

Last night I replaced the stock "toe-link to knuckle" bushings with the Ford Racing bushings. Install was made fairly easy with a press kit from Full Tilt Boogie Racing.

- I used PB blaster on the the stock bushings during removal
- I had the replacement bushings in the freezer for a few hours prior to install

Car felt fantastic after install. No change in NVH, sharper power-on cornering.

Big installs done this week:

BMR BK055 Bearing Kit, Lower Control Arm, Rear
Koni Yellow adjustable shocks
White Line trans mount bushing insert

It's a decent amount of work removing the rear lower control arms and even more work reinstalling them.
I did own a bearing press kit but it destroyed itself when I started wrenching on the first control arm bushing. I was lucky enough to find a shop in town that pressed them out and the new ones in for $50.

- I LOVE the BK055, those combined with all the other BMR & Steeda IRS parts I have, there is zero wiggle/shimmy left in my car's rear end. Planted, direct, precise.

- I like the Koni's but I'm not sure I have them tuned yet. I need for time driving to figure that out. Currently set at 2/4 turns and that might be too stiff. ((( Update: I've backed the Koni's to a softer 1/4 turns and like it better )))

- White Line trans mount bushing insert does increase cabin NVH but it's very minor. It does seem to have helped make shifting gears a little precise. I expect to one day install a MGW shifter and remove this bushing insert.

I took the WhiteLine Trans mount insert out after 24hrs. The added cabin vibrations were annoying.
