Some time in the near future, I want to put my '17 up on the rollers to do a few dyno runs. So here are my questions:

1. What gear should the run be done in - 4th or 5th?

2. What mode should the run be in - Sport, Track or ?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

5th gear, turn off traction control completely. You might actually have to remove the fuse for the traction control system.

Same suggestions. 5th gear since it's 1:1 ratio, disable traction control.

Don't worry about the driving mode or sport exhaust, under open throttle the exhaust opens.

Dyno

Thanks for your responses - so 5th gear and traction control off, But, I was told the "sport" and/or "track" setting had more aggressive fuel maps?

Most shops dont let you in the car when you dyno, their shop tech will do it for you,

Sport and track may increase the gas pedal/throttle sensitivity, but when the pedal is floored they will all be at full throttle so it won’t matter which mode you are in.

I’ve had my car dynoed in 5th with traction control all the way off (no need to pull fuse) and get lots of dash warning after but they go away after driving for a little while.
