Ten spoke OEM-ish looking wheels that can handle track use?

I'd like to replace one of my OEM sets with some lighter aftermarket wheels, while sticking to the OEM look as much as possible. I also track the car and bang it off the curbs quite a bit. Any recommendations for a reliable wheel?

Signature SV501 or SV103?

I have a set of the SV501 and have been happy with their performance. They'll never be confused with the OEM wheel, but the look is fairly similar. Plenty of track time, and no issues so far. I check them for fatigue cracks often.

Another vote for Apex. Crappy photo, but here’s my 3rd set…

Yep forgot about Apex.

I have a buddy running their SM10RS and he's been happy with them also. He did bend one at Mid Ohio, but to be fair, I don't think any wheel would have survived that situation unscathed.

They (Apex) may very well be the best value in the forged wheel arena for the S550 chassis.

For what it's worth, the Apex is a great wheel, but the Signature looks better IMO. YMMV.

Just happened to find a pic handy of the SV501. These are a tinted bronze, not black.

Thank you for the recommendations. I'll look into Apex first. For those running them, what sizes and offsets do you have?

They walk you through it all.

This is the setting I'm on currently.

Wheels

Front Wheel Size: 19x11" ET52 Rear Wheel Size: 19x11" ET52

    • Available in: EC-7, SM-10, VS-5RS, EC-7RS, SM-10RS, ML-10RT
    • Works with factory alignment, but we suggest a track alignment for optimal performance
    • 25mm spacers, extended wheel studs, and open lug nuts are required up front for strut clearance
    • No spacers are needed on the rear

Just my two cents. Apex SM10-RS in brushed aluminum would be absolutely awesome on that car. I may be bias though.

52mm offset, with 32 mm spacer up front. This let's me rotate tires. If rotating is not a factor for you, just go to the 26 mm offset (Please verify that dimension with Apex. I think I am right though).

Thanks guys. I'd rather not run spacers on the front. I'll double check the 26 mm offset option.

Plenty of us do with extended studs but if that's not your way then they make a 19x11 square setup just for you with varying offsets.
