I believe that TeleNav.com produces the Navigation SD chip for the 2015 Mustang (A5?). TeleNav states that they produced a Feb 2014 chip with an update to occur in Feb 2015. Did/will this happen this month? If so, will Ford provide owners who have still not received their Mustangs (with Navigation) with the new (A6?) chips? Or will we have to turn around and buy a $100 update?

Just fired off an e-mail to my dealer. Lets find out what they have to say. My entire neighborhood has no street names and it was built 2-3 years ago.

Needs up to 5 years until "some" streets are in the maps. Some never get in and I am talking about addresses they exist longer than 10 years. No idea why

Subbing for the same reason. Is there a way once we check out vehicles to see if it has the updated chip? My car has been in "waiting for shipment" or still in "production" since the beginning of the month...

Does the NAV chip travel with the vehicle from Flat Rock, or does it go to the dealer first?
If it goes to the dealer first, it might be possible for the dealer to 'switch' the boxed '2014-A5' chip for the new 2015-A6. I would rather not have to pay an extra $100+ just to get a 2015 chip for my 2015 model.

I believe it travels since mine was in the car and I saw it rolling from the trailer.
