Sync 3 3.3 not downloading for others?

What is the latest update? I'm showing 3.3 however I'm getting a pop up on the screen to connect to Wi-Fi for an update. Of course the auto DL and manual check for updates isn't DL anything else.

Is 3.3 the latest or is 3.4 out? Part of me expects the dealership to update this if it isn't going to update via Wi-Fi as advertised. It is 2019. It should update while parked in the garage while it's turned off for crying out loud.

Yup, I downloaded from the website and put it on a usb stick and it took the update and it's a different 'build' of Sync 3.3 - so far no more of the annoying prompts about wifi. Also, before it wouldn't let me hit the scan for updates or whatever button. It just ignored my attempt and now it works again.

Just completed the 3.3 revision using thumb drive. No issues and new build 19052.

Just keep the USB drive in after receiving the error message and go for a 20-30 minute drive. The software will still install. It happened to me as well. The SYNC version will change to 3.3.

I did the official 3.3 with no problems. The error message I mentioned is from the unofficial 3.4 that he made available to download via his google drive.

Seems like a thumb drive and manual DL is required to "fix" something that should be auto updated. I'm not surprised but boy is that silly for 2019.

@p6cl was able to update to 3.4 with my files so not sure why you guys can't. I am trying to get my hands on a non nav 2019 APIM so I can try but they're still hard to find.

So I can get to the test menu and I’m able to select that screen. It works. But on next start up / shutdown, it goes back to what you have as default. How does one select that permanently? FORScan maybe?

I’m going to attempt the 3.4 update on my 19 w/ nav in a few minutes. I’ll let you guys know how it goes. I too have 3.3 already but get the annoying “update” pop up

Remember 3.3 has a couple “builds” which may be why you’re getting the update pop up.

In regards to the splash screen, mine reverts back too. :(
