What is the max HP I can safely get to on a 2018 GT350 with out changing the drivetrain. Also planning on drag radials in the back to hook better. Traded my Z06 on this car and love it. I just want some of the punch I had with the Z in this car.
Don’t want to replace the entire drive line to get it.

Wheel hop, not power will be your driveline's main enemy. Wheel hop alone can kill even the stoutest of drivelines. You should do the BMR cradle lockout kit level 2 and Steeda BMR cradle lockout kit alignment bushings (not sure why BMR didn't do that themselves...) or Steeda IRS braces at MINIMUM even with factory power and drag radials. If say you did a Whipple with 750 RWHP (which is peanuts for this engine), you're at the power level where new vertical links would actually be warranted as well.

I've heard that the clutch is the first weak point and it can't accommodate much above stock power levels.

Box stock Whipple gen3 kit, with Kooks LTs on a Whipple tune and im at 835rwhp, 600tq. All on stock clutch, stock driveshaft, stock everything, zero chassis mods.... Zero Wheel hop, zero problems, 4300 boosted miles at 10PSI on 93 octane seeing 8000rpms regulary at least 3 days a week and not showing any signs of advanced wear and tear.

Any way I could get you to pm me a parts list. This sounds like exactly what I am looking for.

What are you using for rear tires? Mine loses traction above 7000 rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear!

Same here! It will also spin in 4th @130+ if you pull it that high lol. I have a set of M/T drag radials but they handle like poop, so I mainly drive on the Michelins and leave advance trac on at all times.

Hey you got any videos of your car running. Interested to see what it sounds like. Also are your 835/600 Numbers RWHP ??

It's not that bad. Yes, Lethal Performance did cook their clutch but that was because on one of their early pass attempts they botched a shift hella bad and overreved the car to 9500+. They continued to beat on the thing with nitrous hits and then boost. Eventually it did give up but it was hurt before they even began the fun.

Thanks, car looks strong and sounds good. I have been debating adding a Whipple or maybe even the fathouse TT set up. I kind of don't like getting rid of the strut tower brace. Gonna wait to see what happens with the GT 500 and make my decision then. Any idea of your curb weight with the SC set up ?
