well bleed all 4 today. pedal feels firm car stops nicer than yesterday, however, if i am stopped and press the pedal firmly it sinks to the floor... I do not think that is normal LOL i bled them like a 100 times
Hey, did you notice with the stoptech brake line that stock hard line doesn't thread all the way down like with the stock brake lines?

I got it tight, just making sure that seems normal

Yeah I just made sure it sealed all the way and I’ve checked it for leaks a couple of times.

reviving this thread. Does anyone know how to stop the banjo bolt (oem pp1 brembos) from leaking? I replaced the 4 copper washers and have tightened it way beyond the 30 nm torque spec, but it’s still leaking.

CRUSH washers or copper COLORED washers that don't actually crush?
Actual copper washers. Any harm in torquing it a bit more? I am sure I have torqued it good amount.

I would examine the washers and the mating surfaces. There is something wrong that it's not sealing and cranking on the threads you're tempting stripping them, which means you'll need a new caliper.

start with a new banjo bolt and washers and see what happens.

if that doesnt work, try a new brake hose.
id avoid overtightening it

The solution was to stack the parts in the correct sequence.

that would work 99% of the time. the problem is with brake/suspension bolts is that they are mission critical and 99% of the time isnt good enough. that blue or red stripe on the bolt is microencapsulation and is a shear force activated version of loctite. only works once. theres no reason to try to save 3$ on this project by reusing the bolts. obviously, this is my opinion only.
The bolts are fine to reuse. Clean them off and put a drop of Loctite on them when you reinstall. You're being paranoid.

Over-torquing a banjo won't make it seal. It needs to be replaced and used with new crush washers.
