For those guys that said they had their mustangs delivered on a Sunday, how does that work out if the dealership is closed?

I've heard the car gets delivered regardless, they just leave it on the lot.

Im sure they are dropped in the service key drop or locked in a delivered vehicle with keyless entry.

They put then in service key drop box. Even if it has keyless entry they still use the box cause dealer does not have the keyless entry code ;)

Why is it terrifying to some? They take it to the back of the lot where the dealer would take it if it was during business hours.

The point is, the vehicle goes through the exact same process as it would if dealer was open. it gets delivered, then put in the back of the lot till service gets a chance to prep it.

So the dealer doesnt do anything extra to take care of your newborn! :p

this is absolutely terrifying to me.

Back in the summer, I went by a Ford dealership. Was headed to an early Dr appointment. Dealership wasn't open. They were getting a delivery, and a brand new Explorer was setting in a ditch. Looks like the guy backed it off the truck, and didn't pay attention, turned righ into a ditch at the dealership entrance. The entire back end up in the air like the Titanic. Wrecker was already there......i wonder if the dealer ever found out.....or the new owner?
