Hello guys,

i have a litte problem with my active exhaust in my 2018 GT.
When the exhaust is set to Quite Mode and slightly and normal acceleration from 0 mph on, the exhaust becomes suddenly loud for just a second before it goes back to quite. This happens at about 20 mph. It's reproducable in most cases.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Thanks,
Stefan

That's why it is called active valve exhaust. The valves open as you accelerate, even in quiet mode.

Please read my post again. I understand that the valves have to open in high RPMs even in quite mode, but that's not the problem!
The RPM is around 2.000 when the valves open and they close one second after. Also this occurs only at the range at 20-22mph.

How the active exhaust valves work:
I already know this video and it shows normal behavior. On mine it's different.

If you think it is not working right, take it to the dealer. You have a warranty.

Of course you are right and i'll do that. Just wanted to know if someone else has the same problem... maybe Ford says "works as designed", but this can't be ;)
