we usually keep some octanium at the shop (same as torco, just by vp) if you need something quickThe 5500rpm rev limiter was totally me:doh: Because the Roush intake and header combo is somewhat new, Lund sent the 1st tune to me on the conservative side. After they told me it looked great and I was now able to do a WOT log for them, they had sent me a new tune with a raised rev limiter...but I neglected to read that part LOL!
All I can say is Jon II is awesome. My car pulls like a freight train. Sooooooo much better than stock. Nice linear power. I have a possible false knock to trace down at about 6k rpm and up. I had some exhaust clamps pretty close to the floor board so I rotated them. Will re-log tomorrow. Maybe try some Torco if I get the same results. I've been running 93 octane since owning the car so I shouldn't be worried about mixing lower octane. Probably should get an oil separator too.
I did a "how to load your tune file" video, guess I should do a how to datalog file.
datalogging is super easy with the gauge compared to the x4. and you don't have to stop and download to your pc before logging again.
glad to see the roush tuning going well.
if you need anything, let me know
