That's where the owners manual is supposed to go. Mine was in the glove box as well.

I love that little tray! Keeps the owners manual out of the way and is great to put the registration and insurance info in. Keeps the glove box less cluttered and always easy to get to the registration without unloading the whole damn glove box.

And before you have to ask, sunglasses storage is a slide out tray beside the trunk release button to the left of the steering wheel.

I do like the tray for the manual. Certainly saves space in that small glove box...

I pushed the yellow button and nothing happened, must need the weight of the manual to open. or do I slide the yellow button, don't want to break it.
waiting on manual as the one in it was for an other vehicle. An explorer why or how, who knows. but reading it won't help me. lol
or maybe the correct one is in that slot,area. how does it open.

Just gently push it in and the door will drop down.
