I was looking onto the Sto'n Sho for base GT, it's about time I start complying with Texas laws. I was surprised to find 2 versions of it, 1)the trapezoid version with 3 screws that requires drilling into the splitter, and 2)the long rectangular version that has 2 screws only. I get the impression that the latter one is newer.

Is one better than the other (pros/cons)? Not particularly worried about clearance since my drop is not that much, but concerned about overall durability and sound design.
