The ultimate goal is to get a one piece aluminum driveshaft from DSS of course but my I'm curious does anybody know the limits of the stock one. My personal goal is the 750ish maybe 800hp range once I get everything together.

I'd get at least an aluminum 1-piece, if not a carbon fiber. But the stock drive shaft has held on a number of vehicles with your power level just fine, especially with an auto.

Get a driveshaft loop and if your OEM shaft breaks... maybe that will contain it.

While we have never broken one, even on vehicles with 800+rwhp, it is never a bad idea to upgrade one that is rated for a higher HP. Security blankets are not a bad thing.
