Stock brakes with a supercharger

15 Guard GT 50th anniversary pack 6MT.
Planning on getting the roush supercharger very soon,
And was wondering if my non PP stock brakes will be adequate?
Consedring the Ford racing brake upgrade kit once available
Any advice/suggestions?

It's good to know that stock brake are able to handle that amount of added power.
I might go for FRPP kit though.

You could have a billion horsepower and stopping from (for example) 60mph would be the same as stopping from 60mph with 50hp...

The need for more brakes with more power is like 908ssp said, for the track. The faster you can be at the braking point of each corner (because of more power), the more brake you need to slow you down to the cornering speed, and do so at every corner, without getting overloaded with heat.

The second part of the equation is your tire choice. Brakes have one purpose, transfer friction into heat. Tires is what stops your car. Throwing a BBK on the car can actually hurt your performance if you don't have proper brake bias and tires with enough CoF to stop your car.
