How long did your stock battery last and what did you replace it with?

3 to 5 years seems to be the norm.

depends what the weather is. Heat destroys batteries, they get replaced 3-4 years here because they will die without warning.

Remember, the first rule of Batteries, if it ever shows sign of weakness, (Unless you left a light on or something),

Replace it!

Battery life depands on alot of things. Like loose battery letting it bounce around, discharging battery like leaving lights on or playing radio. Alt over or under charging

I know it's not Mustang but had my Evo for like 11-12 years before the battery showed any signs of weakness. And we get cold winters and hot summers. One day the engine cranked a little longer and started. So had it changed since it was like 2014/2015 and I got the car 2003.

The battery in my 2011 lasted almost 6 years, just replaced it a few months ago. Daily driver, never sat more than a week at a time, driven in subzero temps up to 100+ summer days. Would occasionally sit in the car at lunch time listening to the radio for 30 minutes or so. Never had an indication it was ever getting weak, one morning was just suddenly completely dead. Jumped it and drove it to work, started up just fine that afternoon to drive to the parts shop next to my work.

In my 14 it lasted almost 3 years in Florida. But i let it get fully discharged like 3 times while I was working on the car. I went to my dealer and they changed it under warranty don’t spend money on a battery if you’re still under warranty.
