The only way I can figure out the low/high with the DW440 is using the wiring from the lift pump for low, & primary pump wiring to trigger the high side.

"The C103 controller is not the dual speed high/low. It works on the OE PWM pulse signal from your ECU and works mostly like stock, ramping up and down as needed.
The C102 controller is the dual speed, when you ground the white wire on the controller it activates the high speed. You could ground that wire many different ways, with a toggle switch, with a boost switch (Hobb Switch), with a WOT switch anything that add or remove a ground when you want the higher flow.

Seems pretty straightforward.

cars back, tempted to skip measuring at the fuel hat though as @cbrtrx advised correctly on the hat being largest first restriction from visual inspection. very curious how much drop could be gained from putting a bulkhead in to bypass this alone

inside diameter of the molded hat fitting is 6mm or a bit less.. the inside diameter of the plastic molded fuel lines are 7.95-8mm.

8an ID is roughly 10mm with the fittings getting down to 8-9mm.

Was about to pull the trigger on full 8an bulkhead to fuel rail line/ends but stopped. How much benefit is there really with 8an? the ID of the fittings can get rather small and ID of the hose is not 1/2". 10an is needed for true ID of 1/2".

seems like going from 14ga wire to 12 ga when an 8ga is really optimal to removal all drop..

Doing full 10an from rail to fuel hat. Bulkhead is 10an to 3/8 barb. Stock fuel filter is now the last restriction besides the 3/8 QC at the fuel rail. Thought about drilling out the fuel filter barbs but worried the plastic would be compromised when pushing the fuel tube on. Regulator can be removed too.

Depending on results might utilize a c5 vette fuel filter/regulator that has 3/8 QC and built in return that would keep everything contained to rear if the car. Same target psi just external version of what we already have with larger ports.

Any downside to a c5 filter/regulator? Never have ran a GM car or with the ls1 engines

Fuel tube is 8mm ends. Barbs are 9.3mm. Tape the tube ends and clamp in tube flaring clamp with a bit of heat gives you needed leverage with out putting pressure on the tube and possibly kinking it

Sorry but I was notified for these posts. Nice work ! Anyways to answer my question; 55 to 65 psi. Stock lines / rails / fuel pump is good to around 650 hp. With a good BAP add another 75-100 hp depending on the specific gravity of the fuel.

real rail pressure numbers on a stock pump/lines flowing enough air for 600whp with a BAP.

if the pump is up for it and i can recover 5psi at the rails at the tail end, id be happy. otherwise ill continue to a return style next using stock pump and modified hat.

Those are actual. Measured with external sensor in logs. 8 or 9 psi of boost

Stock pumps stouter than I thought. 10an from stock filter\reg to roush rails. Ran an 8gauge power wire to the fpdm and matching ground. Roush BAP (jms fuelmax) was previously installed. Voltage drop on the stock 12ga run wasn't ideal with the bap though.

55 to 56psi till 6800rpm at 8 or 9 psi boost and 71 lb/min. Was at 50psi prior. Haven't taken it higher yet but expecting it to hold as COT kicked in and pressure still held with that large jump in demand. This isn't inferred. Its measured at the rail with external sensor

Dropped 10 to 15%DC and dropped 2ms fuel PW through out the pull. Need more logging to get the actual flow/pressure table rebuilt but worth the efforts for just a single fuel line and power line

Great info ! So did you go from a 12ga to 10ga? Notice any difference ? And I might have missed it, but what size injectors are you using ? And lastly, that roush BAP is a on/off, no ramp up correct ?

Went from stock wiring which is 13 or 12ga cross section to 8 gauge. Took apart the fuse box and cut and crimped a few inches from the relay just passed the maf and ECU splice on the purple/green wire. Ran to pin on fpdm. Same on ground wire from fpdm to bolt to the inside of the b pillar. Stock wiring should NOT be used in parallel.

2020 gt500 injectors,

roush bap is only on when ecu commands pump hi speed. Can set trigger point in the tune and ecu swaps to hi psi table just like stock. Roush uses the jmsfuel max or ezfuel. No ramp. Runs just like stock pump setup just higher volts when hi speed is activated. Lo speed its off

Did you measure the wiring amp draw before/after ?
BTW I did a quick calculation of the stock 17 injectors and it seems to be 44lbs/hr.
