I made mine out of a 2" billiards ball. About the same size as stock and something different. Fits on my MGW shifter with a rubber grommet to seal it all up.

I always like to use Ford Performance stuff, it keeps it looking factory/not over the top but adds a little extra. This is mounted on a Steeda tri-ax shifter and I have their single piece black reverse collar. I love all of it, very happy with the look and feel.

I went with Ford Performance as well. Looked at a lot of shift knobs and drove myself nuts :cwl:
Too many options!

Hey y'all, I'm new here and to be honest I don't see a search function so figured I'd just start a thread seeing what all everyone is using for their shift knobs, I don't mind the factory shift knob but then again I'm used to the hurst shifter in my 95 F-150 and the pistol grip i had in my 88 fox, I've kinda looked around on ebay and didn't see a whole lot that peaked my interest but hell if you've got something other stock (even if its the knob from the Shelby or the Mach it'd be nice to see so I can get some ideas). Any who, post up some pics!

Add another dissatisfied customer to the list of Anarchy Motive.

I saw some folks recommended Billetworkz. I actually laughed out loud when I saw their custom engraving E1. That is pretty much perfect for the 10R80 owners. And yes there are conversion kits for the 10R80 to use a manual shift knob.

Something different...

I disliked how low the factory knob is. Reverse lockout, 3" Shifter extension and SR shift knob from Shift Solutions Co. All aluminum and powder coated—though I'll be ordering a stainless wrinkle coated one, soon.

If the extension really chafes someone all the wrong ways, it can be unscrewed and removed to return the ball to stock height. I notice no difference in shift feel, save less reaching to get at the shifter.

Agree that's different, how does the reverse lock_out work, being so low?

"no difference in shift feel" but the throw is. Looks good in your car.
