This may have been covered, but does anyone know what the pigtail connector is for the OEM mirror LED? For BLIS?

EM2Z-14C689-A from the guide is listed as from Ford Edge. Mustang’s is FT4T-14D453-AC. Are they absolutely same? Also left and right don’t differ?

Left or right doesn’t matter. One of the modules (right hand side) wirings has two ground wires instead of one. That way the module itself „knows“ which side of the vehicle it is located at and will identify itself on the can-bus accordingly.

In my case i ran 4. One pair for the BLIS light and another pair for the heated mirror. If you already have heated mirror then you only need 2.
Blade, where did you get power/control for the heated mirrors? I'm upgrading a base model to BLIS and heated mirrors. Thanks!

So @Falk03 helped me with this. I joined both wires for both mirrors and connected them to yellow and blue wire in the connector that is above the C215 connector if I remember correctly.
Here is a wiring diagram that helped.
I can't get to the car to take a picture unfortunately as it's buried in snow :crying:

The heated rear window switch :-)
So its blue on one side yellow on the other as in the diagram and each grounded. No need to go to the heated rear window switch? Thanks!

In my case the wires were already present at the door connectors and I have a MY16 base model. To be exactly the wire colors should be yellow+blue and yellow+green.
A general warning: be careful with wire colors as they might be different. Both wires start in C215 #8 and go to the door connectors: C311 #B8 and C313 #A1.

Anyway the heated window switch wouldn't help you. It just talks to the BCM via the CAN bus. The BCM provides power to the heated window.

Hope this helps.
