I have a 2015 ecoboost mustang that came with the base 17" wheels and tires. I recently bought a set of 19" GT Performance Pack Wheels that obviously fit perfectly fine, but i have developed this pretty loud clunking noise when i am backing up out of a parking spot. usually with the wheels turned. Is there something to changing wheel size and the BCM not knowing how to adapt to the bigger wheels? Anyone run into this before?

Perhaps a rubbing issue.
Not to sound like an ass, but do you have the front and rear properly installed?
8.5 on front and 9.5 on the rear.

Did the 19" wheels come with the Pirelli's on them? Because the noise is probably from the tires.

If they got summer tires on em and the outside temp is low they will scrub and scuff when turning. Just tire noise

They do have the stock summer tires on them, and it is pretty cold here so i guess that makes sense. I have everything on right, and checked to make sure there was no rubbing issues. I pulled them off this week for winter tires, so hopefully the problem is better in the spring.

I had a thud/clunking sound when backing out of my drive with the wheels cut hard, too. The noises started once the temps started getting cold, < 40. It sounded and felt like something in the suspension which had me worried. I replaced the Pirelli's on Saturday and now no more thud/clunk when backing out. Definitely the tires + cold temps. You will be fine with those once it's warm outside.
