Someone needs to figure out an easier way to get these in without taking the entire rear of the car apart, Remember, if you take off the axle nut you are supposed to replace it. If we could press it off on the car by just dropping the inner LCR mount and could use something like a pully puller to push it in with a socket that would make life 100x better.

Is there an easier way to installing this without taking the full rear apart? Can lower control arm be unbolted and pulled down to press out the bearing and install the new one?

In theory yes, in practice YMMV. For example in my case one of the bushings pressed out OK with the portable tool. The other destroyed that said tool and a small press as well. A 50 ton press had to be used and so there was no way to do that on the car itself.

Damn.. So if all goes smoothly, it is possible just to unbolt and pry it down a bit to have it pressed out? BMR sells a tool also to press out the bushing to avoid taking to a machine shop.

Why do you worry so much about taking off the lower control arm? You do that anyway when you replace the rear springs for example and a lot of people did that themselves.
