So it's been almost a week with my new delrin reverse lock out,and I gotta tell you, this thing feels great :)

I can't compare it to the Barton one but side bye side with the OEM one, the lip that you pull up on is a way better more secure feeling when pulling up :first:

Yes! Glad you're enjoying it!

Anyone install this with the GT350 Shift Knob?

Is further modification to the knob or collar required for the lock out to work?

TIA

Anyone know the size of the o-ring? My car was missing for a month and in that time I seem to have misplaced the o-ring. Figure I can go to the automotive store and ask for the right size and BAM, they will have it. :D I can't find the zip tie either but I have a bunch of those lying around. Figure it walked off with the o-ring. :headbonk:

The o-ring size is dash number 015 based on what I'm being told.

I installed mine yesterday. It feels much more sturdy than stock and very high quality. It took me a few trys to fully seat the collar since I didn't pay attention to the tab on the base of the OEM shifter. Once I figured that out, got it seated. The Steeda collar seems to require more force to pull up and get into reverse but once it "breaks in", I'm assuming it will go away. Awesome Steeda product none the less.

On a side note, maybe mine just had a shitload of glue or something because I broke the OEM one taking it apart. What are you guys doing to these OEM collars to break them ? Mine seemed to not wanna come apart at all, but my car only has 1300 miles so maybe over time they wear out.

David@Steeda is there anyway to acquire one of these billet aluminum ones anodized the same red as the hood latch pull, that would be killer to match those

Great question & let me run this by manufacturing to see if it can be done!

Hello Chris,

We would have to gauge what kind of demand there is but yes, it can be done.

I will start a new thread in the Steeda section & see what numbers we can get.

Best Regards,

TJ
