Both of my S550s felt better with the spacers especially my 2015 GTPP. It felt much more stable at high speeds. I did eventually sell the spacers and wheels. But they looked great in the mean time.
I think you needed to try the 1" wider wheels.

Thanks @Roadway 5.0. Great explanation and good point of view. Will keep in mind.

It'd probably have to change some, but for the same amount of strut-side clearance as OE you wouldn't need to run 25mm less offset to get there. An inch wider with offset about 13mm less positive would put the outside face of the wheel in the same place, if you've got enough strut-side clearance to allow the wider wheel to grab about 13mm of that and still provide enough clearance.

Where I was really going with the idea of 1" wider wheels is that you're going to gain more improvements in feel and general behavior from the inch-wider wheels than you'd ever get from the wider track provided by the spacers. The tires are the most flexible parts along the steering system (from steering wheel to contact patch), so it only makes sense to firm that up a bit first.

Picked up a used '15 GT a few months ago with just 4800 miles on it. Put Sport Progressive Springs, Steeda Sway Bars and Steed struts and shocks. Along with IRS braces and bushing supports. Handles much better. Here is a photo after the ceramic coating was applied. Love this car!!

Installed my Steeda progressive lowering springs, shocks and struts, camber plates, bump steer kit, and 25mm spacers this weekend. Oh and painted my calipers red. Didn’t want to match the Ruby, and the red matches the little period in my 5.0 badge.

Got my alignment today at the Ford dealership... told them about the adjustable camber plates but they didn’t use them because my camber is within spec. Feels like I wasted a few hundred dollars there.

I do love the feel, ride and stance though... very happy with the rest!

Oh, and the fronts have already settled a bit more than thes pics taken yesterday.

Looks good bud, but you may have jumped the gun on getting the alignment so soon. The fronts will lower more in the werks to come.

The good thing is that your Ford dealer owes you another alignment. The front is good, but they didn’t adjust camber on the rear at all. It’s best to have a bit more camber on the front than rear, or at least have all four wheels even.

I recommend taking the car back after a few weeks of driving and asking them to tighten thier shot-group a bit.

Here’s a good street setup:

.06 toe front (each)
2.0 camber front (each)
.12 toe rear (each)
1.6 camber rear (each)

Thanks for the advice. I assume you mean negative numbers on the camber, and positive on the toe?

They basically told me the machine says it’s within spec so they didn’t need to adjust the rear camber. I wonder if I take it back if there going to tell me if I want it adjusted I’ll have to pay them to do it since it is in spec.

That's basically their excuse for not wanting to adjust it. Apparently rear camber adjustments can be a bit difficult physically (available space to work in?), and the tech probably didn't like what spending the extra time would mean given that he's probably paid a flat rate for the whole job.
