Mine came today and they are installed. No jacking up required take a bathroom mirror with a handle find the bolts take 3 off I reused them. One bolt hole on mustang had no bolt in it so take a bolt and chase the threads. One person job I had no putty to scrap. Could not be easier.

Just ordered a set for my '18. Now, I am waiting patiently on the new intake and tune.

Do any of the jacking rails (either these or the competition) do anything for chassis stiffness? Something like the subframe connectors that were popular on older gen mustangs?

I understand that's not what they're designed for, but wondering if it might be a secondary benefit.

Minimal secondary benefit ... not enough to warrant it as a benefit.

They don’t extend any further as they mount in the same location. The “jackable” length has increased by approximately almost 15” (14-7/8”) which is over 40% longer.
OK I'm confused, sorry TJ. If they mount in the same place that's good. But if they don't extend any further how does the jackable length increase?

The old ones have brackets where they bolt to the chassis. The new ones do not, therefore adding more jackable length.

Win/Win!

Sorry if a silly question, when fully installed, can you still be able to access the recommended pinch weld locations for front and rear tire change with the spare tire jack if I need to change a tire on the side of the road, the way I look at them on some photos, they look like leave no gap to use pinch welds for the ford spare tire jack?

Why not just use the jacking rail? Maybe others can weigh in that have the jacking rails & used the spare jack, but I don't have that answer - I will have check with our team & see what the answer is.

You can check with Mustang Motorsports & see if they are willing to stock them, see what kind of demand there is.

installed mine on monday. all i did was drive the front up on a bit of 2x6 to give me a little more clearance to see what i was doing. super easy to install and took all of 10 minutes if that.

not the best pictures, but for those wondering:
