so having handed the barely released GT500 it's walking papers, what's a rough estimate to duplicate the (important) parts of the 9.9s build?

What front springs would you suggest for a similar N/A car build but with a bit heavier? I'm not pulling a ton of weight out and thinking the car will be around 3700 with driver. Would you stick with the 125 front or go 150?

OK - one more question...

Do you have the Steeda adjustable motor mounts on this car? Do you know where you would need to set those to clear a stock hood with the CJ intake?

Yes, we do, and you need to lower it all the way down. Scott mentioned he had to "modify" it a bit by trimming the bracing in the center.

Is Steeda saying they are still using a unopened factory stock motor?
No, they have been pretty open about what the motor has in it. It's a stock shortblock but does have ported stock heads and Comp Cams in it which are all pretty easy for anyone to get on their car.

Still mighty impressive.

I don't think they are hiding much here. Just about everything you can do to the motor is done outside of the stock short block. They are lighter than most S550's and admit that and show you what parts are used. They list their fuel and tuner info along with all the non-Steeda parts used. What do you think they are hiding?
