Hello All:

Steeda is happy to announce our latest offering - the Steeda Mustang GT ProFlow Open Cold Air Intake (2015-2020)!

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-3228-s550-open-cold-air-intake

The Steeda ProFlow Open Cold Air Intake maximizes the potential of your induction system. Designed by Steeda engineers and put to the test with real track time, this intake will give your S550 an edge. The vehicle-specific design makes use of the factory air duct and draws in fresh and dense air. A roto-molded airbox assembly shields the intake from the hot air of the engine bay and makes sure your 5.0L engine is making peak power. Engineered using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) the intake has been optimized for airflow. Smooth bends and curves in the intake, combined with a high-flow nanofiber mesh air filter, ensure unrestricted airflow. The filter attaches to a specially designed velocity stack that helps to draw in a larger volume of air and increase the speed of air getting pulled into your engine. Steeda's 114mm mass airflow housing is built into the intake tube and generates a clean signal for smooth throttle response and outstanding drivability.

The attention to detail that was put into designing this kit is unlike that of any other brand. Steeda went the extra mile to design the kit to work with the Gen 3 Coyote engine covers so that there is no need to modify or cut the cover. This allows you to maintain that clean look that the stock engine bay has. You have the option to delete the sound tube that sends intake noise into the cabin or delete the sound tube for a quieter cabin.

If you are looking for an intake system that is designed for your S550 by real racers, enthusiasts, and owners of Mustangs, this is the kit for you. Designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house, right here in the USA. With over 30 years of experience racing and building performance parts for Mustangs, you can be sure that Steeda is the name you can trust.

Warning: Not approved for sale in California or states that require a California E.O. #. This part has been designed and is intended for off-road applications only. Installation of this part on a vehicle that is driven on public roads may violate U.S. and Canadian laws and regulations.

Unfortunately, no.

TJ, do you guys have some data to share to back up these claims?

If I were to replace my current intake with this new Steeda piece, and it does not increase the performance of the vehicle - am I able to return the product?

Thanks!

Lol I highly doubt any such guarantee exists for after market mods.

Well if it's stated as fact, I would hope there is some sort of guarantee?

It's fairly simple to log intake temperature and test power output these days.

It says the same thing on their other Pro-Flow CAI too. Not sure why you'd have two open CAI's. I don't get why someone can't make a completely sealed box made of heat resistant material with a clean MAF signal and a huge filter on it. Is it that difficult?

seems like a better version of the PMAS honestly, if it can keep IATs down. curious how well it seals

Apparently it is lol. But still a fair request. Curious if we will see any offerings.

Sure looks way better than pmas. But the tube is smaller. Not 120mm+

Steeda engineered their filter box to accept the OEM intake snorkel.
That’s an industry first isn’t it ?
