I'd like to lower my 19' Performance Package 2 (MagneRide) and am very interested in any feedback on the Steeda MagnaRide Sporting Lowering Springs. The car's already really good on the track and although I'm looking to improve on that, I'm also looking to fill the wheel gap a bit. Don't want it slammed and although the FPP springs are appealing, I like the idea of a 1" drop (Steeda) vs 3/4" (FFP @ 20mm). Still running 305/30/19 on all 4 wheels so I also want to make sure there's no tire rub on the body. Thoughts on Steeda, to include the change in ride quality, would be greatly appreciated. Would also welcome feedback on the FPP spring of course! Thanks!!

Aesthetics over function.

I'd suggest against mucking with the suspension.

I'd be curious as well, especially if you do the 1 inch drop with 305's upfront (i.e. no rubbing with the drop?).

I added the Steeda springs and Maximum Motorsports camber plates about two weeks ago on my 2020 PP2. I love the new stance and the car feels more balanced all around.

Here it is from a little different angle. Absolutely no rubbing at all with the 305’s and it rides just as smooth as factory

Could I be so bold to ask the following:
- Where did you purchase the Steeda springs and MM camber plates?
- How much were you charged for the install (Hrs and $)
- What camber angle did you decide on?

Thanks! G

I bought the Springs and plates directly from Steeda and MM. I manage a collision center so the install was done in my shop. Alignment shop charged $65.

Thanks! Can you offer some insight into what you do with the car? Have been exchanging emails with MM and they suggested a -1.1 based on hitting the track 2-3 times per year.

It’s a weekend cruiser. Bought it last September and have put about 2k miles on it. I have Steeda jacking rails, subframe brace, clutch spring, coil springs, H pipe, shifter, and the subframe tubes. Rear seat delete, camber plates and tint. Street cruising and mountain runs are mainly what I plan on doing to the car. Still not sure what I will do HP wise.

Steeda mag ride lowering springs are perfect. I ran a 325 30r19 first then went to a 305 35 20 setup. Not rubbing issues. going to a 315 35 20 Nt555r2 I got into rubbing issues lol. I'm also running 0 camber (drag racing setup).

I have Drake's side skirts on the car and I can barely fit my low profile jack. Hell, at stock height, I had issues getting it on the lift. Keep that in mind too. I scrape as is, I can only imagine even half an inch lower what problems it would bring.

How do you like the clutch spring? Easy install?
