A K member is the giant piece that holds the engine and tranny to the car. A K member brace is something that braces the K member to reduce flex/twist.

What's the difference between the 2 ?
Front subframe that the entire suspension mounts to and which supports the engine vs. stiffening brace.

Once replaces major car component, other one is an add-on.

Let me know if I can help assist - here are the two (2) versions of the K-Member. It greatly depends on what you are looking to accomplish with your vehicle:

& here is the K-Membre brace:

GTRAC brace is probably what you need of you want to simply stiffen the front chassis and aren't really worried about potential clearance problems.

One of my favorite mods on a mustang is a Kmember. Major weight savings are to be had with a tubular kmember and they shine for drag and autocross applications. However if you are daily driving your car I would go with the kmember brace. Can't go wrong with the Steeda products. We are proud to be a dealer for their amazing products here at www.lethalperformance.com!

I have the simple, 2-point Steeda brace for my vert. Without going overboard, I wanted a brace that would work with the rest of the PP1 bracing included on my vert.

Stiffer is better!
