As you know, I've been considering this option for a while! Great discount, so almost certainly will purchase now!

I do have one question...

Do you have an H-Pipe that works in conjunction with this axle back so that the factory system does not have to be cut? Steed in the US have one, though it's not clear if it is a DIRECT fit.

Cheers

Hi jord79 the Steeda H pipe might be a new one as they had discontinued the old one, I will check with HQ.

However in my opinion cutting the rear box is no issue whatsoever. If you ever did want a stock box (and why would you?) there are literally thousands available for free, as nearly every owner chnages their back box sooner or later.

Okay, let me know what you find out re: H-pipe. I think that might make it too loud anyway, just thought it'd be worth trying first before cutting the original pipes. Also, I could fit it myself then. Might have to seek a professional if cutting is involved!

jord79 the H pipe doesnt fit "back to back" with the axle back, it inserts into the stock system slightly further "upstream".

My personal recommendation would be to start with the axle back and live with the sound for a good few hundred miles (or more) and then go from there....

Remember, measure twice, cut once!
