Steeda CIA and Tuner Arrived Today

Do you have tune now? If not, your "real world testing" will be invalid since you're adding both a tune and an intake simultaneously. A fair comparison would be stock intake/tune vs new intake/tune using the same fuel/tuner/weather conditions.

I’m interested in how the car did stock to how I’m going to run it. So tune and CIA are my parameters.

I will look for the pic of my best time at Houston Raceway Park (formally Royal Purple Raceway) from earlier in the year for the exact 1/4 mile time but it was a 12.2xx if I recall. The night it ran 12.2xx the air was ok. It should be ok this Friday also if I can make it out this week. If not, next Friday for sure.

Looks like 12.255 was my best time not a 12.1xx.

Got mine on too working out some kinks though with the tune revision due to new maf curve for existing tune. Hopefully will get dialed in revision tomorrow.

Snug fit under the hood but looks very stock like.

Had mine a week and fighting Ngauge demons. Haven't left the garage yet with the Steeda box. Hope to get my Ngauge back tomorrow and continue.

DAMN!!!


Smoother idle, better drivability all around, very noticeable difference in how the car down shifts then pulls on rolls at higher speeds. It definitely picked up some top end as Steeda claims.

1/4 throttle broke the tires loose from a dig sending her sideways and fighting TC. LOL

It's a winner in my book.


FYI.. Coming from the same tune but with a JLT air box. Lund sent the revision for the Steeda box.

Awesome feedback! Glad to hear you're happy with it. I'm still fighting demons with it but working through it. Hope to have similar thoughts on it when done
