A couple of years ago I changed out my brake lines for custom made braided lines and I found that the rear OEM lines had been cross threaded when installed by Ford. With a bit of research it seemed to be a common thing.
I had to have the original line ends cut off and replaced before my braided lines could be fitted.

OP, any resolution? I did mine myself (J&M), and the tech folks there helped me resolve the threading issue. I think it's an M1.5x10 nut, thread it on and off a dozen times, good to go.

Had I known of the issue, I would have gotten my own brakes done in maybe 2 hours. Sorry you got to deal with this, but it sounds like an install issue.

Also, if they did that shoddy of a job, I don't know if I'd trust them enough to go back, and I'd be very curious if they bled everything properly. Bleeding them should have shown fluid was leaking.

Regardless of if Steeda shipped the wrong parts (based on TJs post it appears that’s not the case) or a stripped brake line from the factory (an issue I know all too well) or poor installation, how the hell did the shop that installed these lines allow a car to leave with the brake lines leaking? I don’t care whose fault it is, OP brought them a car that wasn’t leaking brake fluid and they returned one that was. Faulty brakes is about as potentially catastrophic as an issue with a car can get.
