Is anyone running one of the Steeda aluminum driveshafts on their 2018+ 6speed manual transmission? Looking for feedback on how smooth it is and how well it performs. Thanks

@tj@steeda, I’m sold! Finally, a choice other than DSS. I will be getting one of these in the very near future.

Any chance you could post the weights? Not sure if a CF one is worth the weight savings if a steeda aluminum one is close.

Any idea what your timeline is for buying one of these? I'm interested in purchasing one myself but would like to hear from someone who has installed one and what their impressions are of it.
Thank you.

I’m ready to order one right now. I sent Tim@Steeda a PM requesting a code for military discount a few days ago and I’m awaiting his reply.

Their website says there’s a 2-3 week lead time once ordered. In the meantime, I’ll keep hammering away at the rest of the loose ends that need to be completed in order to return the car to service.

Thanks again! Any idea if these are actually manufactured by Steeda in-house or built to spec by a sub-contractor?

Same. This is on my "Must do" list, but there's not too much feedback about it. Looking forward to @NGOT8R 's evaluation.

Sure does look like a Shaftmaster one pc. but Steeda is on record saying it isn’t.

Either way you can’t go wrong with Steeda.

In the video he says it's 19 lb lighter than the OEM drive shaft, but at steeda.com it's showing only 8.8 lb
