So my goal is to get to the magic number 400 whp with the stage 3 cobb kit and the stock location turbonetics turbo. I ended up taking off the intake from Cobb becaue it actually made my car lose power. Just looking for some input on my goal being realistic or not. Thank you in advance for your input.

You'll be better off asking this in the EB section.

I was trying to figure out forum sections when I posted and could not figure it out. I think I got it now. Can a mod help me move this to correct location?

You're planning on a custom tune, right? The tunes from Cobb are written for the stock turbo and I doubt you'll get the best performance unless you get a custom tune.

on e85 it is realistic. that is considered the upper limits of the factory block, so you may be rolling the dice a bit in terms of reliability to hit those numbers

I will be using tune plus for the tune.

So I am confused with that. Because some people say you can run 400 whp on stock fueling. Then others say its a must when using bigger turbo?

you can use the stock fuel system but pump has won't cut it. since you mentioned you planned on using tune+ anyways:
https://www.tuneplusinc.com/collect...-power-package-for-2015-ford-ecoboost-mustang

"A 100% factory Ecoboost Mustang makes 240whp/280wtq on our dyno. With this package and 93oct will put down around 350whp/380wtq, a gain of 110whp/100wtq! Expect about 7% less with 91oct (CA, NV, and AZ maybe experience less as their fuel is of the lowest quality).

Where this kit really shines and earns it's W400 label is with E30 or RGA (Race Gas Additive - www.race-gas.com). On our dyno with either aforementioned fuel will put down around 400whp/400wtq. That is a gain of 160whp/120wtq over stock!*"

I already have stage 3 cobb installed. That kit includes no exhaust mods. So if exhaust makes no hp gains I should expect around 350 whp? Since I have the rest of the kit minus waistgate.

if you are running the cobb stage 3, you should already have a downpipe installed (it's part of the stage 3 package they sell)
