Squeaking noises

So I just got my car back after a repair that took forever. I missed driving it yet I hate driving it now. The rear seats are squeaking like hell. If I lay them down they don't squeak, but if they're up it squeaks over every bump on the road.

During summer when it was very hot, the dashboard would squeak like crazy.

Has anyone had this issue and managed to fix it?

I went pretty in depth on my 16 with squeaks. Took apart the whole dash and any parts that looked like they could squeak I took a cut up t shirt or some sticky felt. Helped with 99%

I don’t have a squeaky seat but they come out really easy so finding and fixing should be easy.

It's a very common issue, with a very easy solution: Buy some 'Tesa' tape, which is a very thin cloth-like tape, and wrap it around the metal 'U' brackets on each seat back (where they latch in place), and problem solved. Hope that's the culprit . Good luck.
