I wonder if gt350 springs would fit as well.. im assuming not or the #'s would cross reference.

Did they give you a rationale for the error?
Tasca gave me a Return Authorization number. But no compelling reason why the part number was changed. The correct part is on national back order as are the front springs. She did say that the front springs show a potential avail date of 10 April. But she wouldn’t take my order for either part until they show as available.

Yup. My main man let me know this morning that the one front spring I've been waiting for will finally ship. Glad to see they pumped some out before a potential shutdown.

My guy says the front springs will ship from the supplier on 23 March. Should have not too long after that.

Of note, aside from there being differences between the dampers/springs/rear bar/tires on a CFTP vs Base car, I see some interesting control module differences. I've spent some time comparing module as-built data from both Base/CFTP cars. There are a number of BCM differences (body control module), RCM differences (restraint control module - I'm guessing due to the RSD in the CFTP), SODR differences (side obstacle detection module), as well as ABS (anti-lock brake module). ABS makes sense what with different suspension and tires, etc. It'd be great to hear from a vehicle dynamics engineer familiar with these cars as otherwise we'll likely never hear much on these programming differences.

Interesting, Steve and having retired from that company, I don't even know what it means when they say,

"Local Delivery Restriction."
Delivery address is north philly, so its likely do to the flu hysteria

Toe crop? Lol.

Good to see you got what you got. Interesting that the front springs are so hard to get.

Installed the CFTP front springs and rear sway bar last night. The springs did just what I wanted them to do, dropped the car 1/2". Since they have only been on for 12 hours, they might drop a bit more and that will be fine. All four sides measured 28 1/4" from the floor to the bottom of the fender lip. The front splitter at the center was 5 3/4" above the floor. After spring installation, rear fender lip was still 28 1/4" while the front is now 27 3/4" and the front splitter measures 5 1/4" off the floor. It is not a huge difference but exactly what I was looking for. The gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender is more even between the front and the rear instead of the front having a larger gap (partially because it has a smaller diameter tire).

The large gap up from the factory does give the GT500 an odd appearance. Good to hear the springs gave you the look you wanted. I'm interested to hear if you notice any increase in understeer up front or if the "stiffer" rear bar tends to neutalize that as well as how the car pitches with the front-only spring change.
